Material:
Medium carbon steel and pure iron.

Iron embedded with steel.

Method of forging:
Medium carbon steel and pure steel are forged in the forge and folded method with more than 8.000 layers of carbon steel introduced. This method of forging is basically the same as that employed for the Yun Long sword, while the materials used and number of folds made is less than those of the powerful Yun Long sword.
The sword is then hammered into a length and shaped after tempering with water and then sharpened by hand.

Features:
The sword is a combination of hardness and softness. The shape of the sword is in the style of the Ba Hua (eight sides) bronze sword of the Han Dynasty. For enhancing the intrinsic strength of the sword, steel is employed. The front of the sword is gradually tapered. This style is in that of the Han Dynasty. The hardness of the body of the sword is about 45 Rockwell and the hardness of the blade is about 56 Rockwell.

Style of the sword:
This sword is in the original shape of the Jade Han sword. To enhance intrinsic strength, bronze is used.
The bronze fittings of the sword are made in the ‘lost-wax’ method. The ancient sandalwood scabbard of the sword is constructed in a double-layer structure; the wooden handle is tied with silk strings, which reflect the simplicity and prestige of the Han Dynasty.
